Perfect bars are a great on-the-go snack option, however they are on the pricier end at almost $3 per bar at some stores! Make them at home in less than 5 minutes for a much more cost efficient snack!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups almond flour
3/4 cup peanut butter or preferred nut butter
1/4 honey or maple syrup
1/2 cup vanilla or plain protein powder
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp milk of choice
Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, dried fruits, chopped nuts, etc.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Press into an 8x8 pan or dish. Top with chocolate drizzle (melt chocolate chips with a little coconut oil) if desired! Let sit in fridge or freezer to harden. Cut into preferred sizes and enjoy!
If cut into 10 bars: approximately 175 calories, 8g protein, 11g fat, 2g saturated fat, 6g carb **without possible mix-ins or chocolate drizzle
